Seeking full-time veterinarian

Biddeford Animal Hospital has been independently owned since we opened our doors in 1988, and we intend to stay that way. That means decisions get made by veterinarians, not private equity. It means you have a real voice in how we practice medicine. And it means when the practice does well, the people who built that success share in it.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a veterinarian who wants to grow with us, not just fill a shift.

What We Offer

We are a full-service small animal practice with serious capabilities: traditional medicine and surgery, abdominal and cardiac ultrasound with telehealth specialist support, acupuncture, and exotic animal care. We invest in our medicine and we invest in our people. We enjoy forming bonds with our clients, some of whom have been trusting us with their pets’ care for nearly 40 years.

The Team

Our staff is skilled, genuinely caring, compassionate, and a lot of fun. We work hard together and look out for one another. A good sense of humor is considered a valuable clinical asset here. We take pride in the fact that team members tend to stay with our practice, several who have been with us for over a decade (or two!).

And the cost of living is still reasonable for the region, which matters when you’re thinking about quality of life, not just salary.

This is ideally a full-time role, but we’re open to part-time for the right person.
